NT219: A small molecule compound that targets insulin receptor substrate 1 and 2 (IRS1/2) as well as signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) pathways. NT219 is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical studies for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic solid tumors and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. The company was formerly known as Kitov Pharma Ltd until its rebranding to Purple Biotech Ltd. in December 2020.
