These products find diverse applications in ignition systems, mailboxes, office and institutional furniture (such as file cabinets and desk drawers), tool storage units, high-security medical cabinetry, sophisticated narcotics boxes with integrated inventory and access control, electrical circuit panels, general storage compartments, gas station security, and vending or cash containment machines. Key industries served by this division include recreational transportation, postal services, office and institutional furniture, specialized cabinetry, tool storage, and healthcare. 2. Marine Components: This division focuses on designing and supplying a comprehensive range of equipment, primarily for performance, ski, and wakeboard boats within the recreational marine sector. Its offerings include stainless steel exhaust systems (comprising headers, pipes, mufflers, and other related parts); a variety of gauges, such as GPS speedometers and tachometers; both mechanical and electronic control systems and throttles; wake enhancement systems, trim tabs, steering wheels, and custom billet aluminum accessories. Additionally, the segment provides dash panels, LED indicators, wire harnesses, as well as essential hardware like grab handles, pin cleats, and associated fittings. CompX distributes its offerings directly to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and through a network of distributors. CompX International Inc. functions as a subsidiary of NL Industries, Inc.
