The company's operations are divided into two main divisions: land development and home construction. It markets both raw and prepared land parcels to residential builders, commercial and industrial property developers, and other clients. By July 1, 2022, AMREP's land portfolio encompassed approximately 17,000 acres in Sandoval County, New Mexico, alongside a roughly 160-acre property in Brighton, Colorado. Furthermore, the corporation holds mineral rights spanning about 55,000 surface acres in Sandoval County, New Mexico, and possesses oil, gas, and mineral interests across approximately 147 surface acres in Brighton, Colorado. In addition to its land sales, AMREP focuses on building and selling single-family detached and attached residences.
