The company formulates and produces a comprehensive range of chemicals, including pest control agents like insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and molluscicides, as well as solutions for soil health, plant nutrition, growth regulation, and soil fumigation. These offerings are available in liquid, powder, and granular forms, serving purposes in crop cultivation, turf and ornamental plant management, and human and animal health protection. American Vanguard also actively promotes, sells, and distributes finished chemical and biological products specifically designed for crop uses, and extends its distribution services to chemicals for the turf and ornamental markets. Its extensive distribution network encompasses partnerships with national distribution firms, purchasing collectives, and co-operatives, alongside its own sales offices, dedicated sales force, independent sales agents, and fully owned distribution entities. Established in 1969, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Newport Beach, California.
